The Annual Stuff the Bus campaign this year for DCPS and OPS will be held Monday, July 31 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Representatives from both Davies County and Owensboro Public Schools districts will be on-site at both Owensboro Walmart locations (Hwy 54 and Frederica St.). You can deliver your supplies to either location as they will be split between the two school districts.
If you are unable to make it during the event, supplies can be dropped off at either district's Central Office location.

WLES Families-
We have great news! All DCPS elementary students will be able to have FREE breakfast and lunch this year! With this great news, we are asking for your help in order to make sure that other programs at WLES such as Title I and our Bridgeway FRC are fully funded as well. We need every family to complete the free and/or reduced lunch application so that the funding for these crucial programs is not cut. These programs depend on the percentage of students/families who qualify for free and/or reduced lunch. Also, if a family qualifies for free and/or reduced lunch, your school fees can be waived as well. Applications are now open for Free/Reduced Meals for the 23-24 school year. Applications submitted after July 7 will be valid for the 23-24 school year. If you submitted an application during Open Enrollment, you will need to re-apply at the link below.
Paper copies can be picked up and returned at Central Office or your child's school.

It has been brought to our attention that Wal-Mart has a supply list for WLES through their APP and website. It states that these lists have been created by our teachers, but when we reviewed them, they are not accurate. Please refer to the email sent out earlier today and our Facebook posts for an accurate school supply list. You should also be receiving a back-to-school flyer in the mail. If you have already made this purchase, you can check with our lists and likely return those items not needed. We apologize for this inconvenience!

Our school supply list is included in the flyer. It's very minimial due to funds being available to purchase supplies for our students for this upcoming school year.
