We can't wait to see everyone that comes to the Multicultural Festival tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 19 from 10AM -4PM. This is a free community event. We will have a table with members from our Mental Health team there.
Pictue Day is NEXT Wednesday!! Order forms were sent home with students last Friday.
You can return your order envelope with cash or check (made out to Lifetouch) or you can place an order online following the link in the attached flyer. Please feel free to contact the school at 270-852-7650 should you have any questions.
Running Club will start next Wednesday, September 23rd. Please return all yellow running club forms by this Friday. These forms were in your BLUE back-to-school folders. If you are interested in putting your child in running club but can't find the form, please email Maggie Ballou at maggie.ballou@daviess.kyschools.us.
** There will be NO late bus transportation for Running Club. All students participating will need to be picked up by car or attend our After School Program.
**Also, if you ordered a running club shirt but haven't returned your $8, please return your cash or check by this Friday, August 18th.

WLES Families,
We are excited to begin the new school year on Wednesday. Just a reminder that the front doors open at 7 AM for K-5th grade students and 7:30 AM for preschool students. We do ask for school safety reasons that parents drop students off at the doors and not take them to the classroom. We will have several staff members ready to assist in making sure they get to their classrooms safely. There is a "First day of School" photo opportunity located in the foyer of the school. Please feel free to take a picture of your student as you drop them off. Also, a reminder that breakfast and lunch are free for all elementary students this year!
We will be using Talking Points throughout the school year so this is the major way of communication for families with teachers. You will also see information on our web page and Facebook. Let's have a great 2023-2024 school year. - Mr. Satterly
