We've had the Best Week Ever here at West Louisville! Thanks to the support from home, we were able to Win the High Attendance Competition! Not only were we the highest attendance of the elementary schools... WLES had the highest attendance of any school in thedistrict! When we said that Every Tiger Counts, we truly meant that! If just one more student would've been absent on Wednesday we would've been second place! To celebrate our big win, 6 of our classes have earned 30 minutes of extra recess, Every Student will be getting a prize, multiple students will be drawn for bonus prizes, and our staff will be treated to a Cookout for lunch and Free T-shirts!
Looking ahead, we have one of the best nights of the school year this coming Thursday!! Fall Festival has arrived and we can't wait to celebrate on Thursday night with our entire community! Please see the flyers on Rooms and Facebook to find out how you can help it be our biggest and best Fall Festival Ever! Enjoy the Air Show this weekend and rest up for a great week ahead!

We beat the heat for another week and hopefully for the last time this summer! I want to remind everyone that we do not have school on September 4th or September 7th. We hope you enjoy your 4 Day weekend with friends and family, and we will see you all back in the building on Tuesday September 8th! Next week we have High Attendance Day on September 9th, and our Goal is to have the Highest Attendance rate in the County!! Every Tiger Counts!! We want to celebrate what it means to Belong to the Tiger Family all day long on Wednesday and it will also be an all out Tiger Spirit dress up day! Picture day is on Thursday of next week as well! For this picture day, all students will have their picture taken even if you choose not to purchase pictures. Thank you all for supporting West Louisville and helping our students learn what it means to Be a Tiger each and every day! Enjoy your holiday weekend.
