March Attendance Madness has begun in DCPS!
To help promote high attendance, we will give away prizes for each level for students who had perfect attendance all month and at each level for students who were at school all day on September 13.

Congratulations to Ms. Howard, Olivia, Ayla, and Sarah. They were recognized at tonight's DCPS Board meeting for outstanding achievements. Ms. Howard earned her National Board Certification and the girls were recognized for KMEA All State choir. We are so proud of you all!

The festivities continue with school spirit and holiday themes! We love the "twinning"
We are getting in the Christmas spirit here at Meadow Lands. The Christmas choir concert on Monday evening was beautiful and concluded with a song sung by both the choir and their families. Students in art class are decorating cards to send to local nursing homes!

Spend a day in one of our classrooms as a substitute!
For Permanent District Substitute status with an earned Bachelor's Degree is $130 per day with benefits included.
For Permanent District Substitute status with 64 college credits or more without an earned Bachelor's Degree is $120 per day with benefits included.

Students are having a "spooktacular" time in after school too! It was a great day of learning and fun! We love our after school staff!!
How do we know that we have the best cafeteria staff at MLES? They took the time to carve pumpkins and faces into sandwiches, made mummy hot dogs, and put cookies in Halloween bags. Thank you for going above and beyond to make this day special for students! Happy Halloween!
