Get ready for a week full of fun, smiles, and SCHOOL SPIRIT as we celebrate We Love MLES Spirit Week on February 23rd - 27th! This special week is all about showing our pride, spreading positivity, and celebrating everything that makes our elementary school such an amazing place to learn and grow 🐸💚

Each day will have a special spirit theme, so dress up, participate, and show just how much you LOVE MLES! From silly outfits to school colors, every day next week is a chance to come together as one big school family ❤️🐸

Let’s fill our halls with excitement, kindness, and pride! We can’t wait to see everyone’s spirit shining all week long! 🐸

Congratulations to Meadow Lands Academic Team on their performance today in the District Meet. A huge congrats to Harper Lusk (2nd Place in Written Composition), Jeannie Gomez Peralta (4th place in Arts and Humanities) and Myles Wethington (5th place in social studies) who will move on to the Regional Tournament! We are so proud of our Frogs! A huge shout out to all the coaches, especially Mrs. Gallagher for leading our team!

The 100th Day of School is next week, Tuesday, January 27th. As a school we encourage students to dress like they are 100 years old or dress to represent the number 100 in a creative way (no food items, please)! We are so excited for a day of fun and learning!

Hello, the MLES PTO Christmas Shop opens tomorrow for students to shop for family members or themselves! Students will go with their grade level to shop if they brought money. They will shop tomorrow and Friday. Please send money with students to spend. Be mindful, most will spend all of what is sent in:)

What an electric night at Daviess County High School! 🏀 Meadow Lands Night was an absolute blast! Our choir kicked things off with a performance of the national anthem. They sounded amazing! Then at halftime, the spotlight swung to recognize our Meadow Lands Basketball Club! Huge cheers to our students, Ms. Tadlock, Mr. Griffin, Ms. Stewart, Ms. Buntin, Mrs. Kidd, and our families for making this night so special. Panther Nation + Meadow Lands = ONE unstoppable team! 🐾🐸

Our students are so excited to shop for their loved ones, and we need amazing volunteers to help make this special event run smoothly!

From December 15th–19th, students will visit the Holiday Shop to pick out thoughtful gifts — and volunteers play a huge part in making the experience magical. ✨

We’re looking for helpers for roles such as:
🛍️ Checkout Cashiers
🎁 Checkout Baggers
📦 Shop Stockers
🌟 Student Shopping Assistants (help students budget and select gifts!)

Hot off the press...our amazing STLP club presented three projects yesterday to a panel of judges at the Regional competition. All 3 projects have qualified for STATE at Rupp Arena in April. Congratulations to these students and their leader, Mrs. Fitz. What an accomplishment!!

Today was a great day! We are so proud of our students for their leadership in hosting the Daviess County Board of Education today. STLP leaders spoke to the Board about their projects that make a positive impact on our school culture and community. Other students greeted board members as they entered and posed as Hip Hopper to show our school spirit. Way to go, Frog Friends! Also a huge "thank you" to Mrs. Tucker for making the beautiful Frog Cookies!!
