WLES Parents-We are excited to begin our 1st Nine Weeks Reading Challenge onMonday. You should be getting information from your teacher today about this exciting opportunity to encourage reading at home. Also, be on the lookout for information coming to you soon about our Fall Book Fair and the upcoming Grandparents week. Just a reminder that our Running Club and Choir have started and we look forward to the first cross country race of the year. Wow! What a great year. Thank you for sharing your children with us another year and helping WLES to be such a special school. We value your support. We are so excited for our 5th graders moving on to BMS. They will do great things!! Have a great summer break and we look forward to seeing our students in August.
It has been an incredible week at WLES! Our students worked very hard on the KSA test and lived up to our motto of Doing our Best, Strive for Success!! Also, HUGE shout out to the PTO and community for your support of the WLES staff. We feel much appreciated by your efforts and we value your support. Our 4th grade students rocked the KSA test this week and our 3rd and 5th grade students are ready to test next week. Please note the calendar for several upcoming events including Field Day, Park Day, Movie Day and Promotion ceremonies for Preschool and 5th graders.
