Good Evening Hornets! Another great day with 93% of students learning online! The following classes had 100%: Major, Rickman, Meyer, Hagan, Crisp, King, Camron, & Stone! Awesome!!! Tomorrow, January 18th will be a DCPS@Home Day #3. We will see you online @ 9:00am.

Good Afternoon Hornet Families! I am happy to report that we had 94% attendance today online. The following classes had 100% attendance: Major, Rickman, Hagan, Crisp, King, Camron, Stone, and Hill! Awesome! Due to the district's call for tomorrow, Jan. 17, we will see everyone again in the morning online at 9:00am.

Tomorrow, Jan. 16, will be a DCPS@HOME Day#1. DAY 1 work is in the black DCPS folder in your child’s backpack. In there, you will also find a schedule of teacher availability for the day! All K - 5th grade students should also have a Chromebook device in their backpacks. Teachers will be online at 9! See you tomorrow!

Our 2nd and 3rd grade students participated in a community service project where they decorated ornaments for the Wendell Foster Angel Tree. The Wendell Foster engagement team spoke to these students about the services they offer throughout our community. Their services are known for supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as various support programs. Pictured here is, Bryant, one of the residents at Wendell Foster. He spoke to students about the goals he has for his future, one including a trip to Ireland. This project aligned with our SEL word of the month, generosity! Mrs. Foley
