🐝 Happy Tuesday, Highland Families! WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🐝
Did you know that Highland is currently a Title I school? This means our school receives additional funding that helps provide instructional resources, staffing, and important student supports—all of which directly benefit our students every day!
However, based on our current participation for the 2026–2027 school year, Highland is at risk of losing this funding. 😬
This is where we need EVERY Highland family to help!
We are asking EVERYONE, regardless of income or salary, to complete the form below. Your information is confidential, and completing the form takes only a few minutes. Your participation helps us demonstrate that Highland qualifies for this important funding.
💰 We are talking about potentially SIX FIGURES in additional funding for our school—$100,000+ that could directly support our students!
And because we believe in making everything a little more fun… 👀
🎃 IF WE REACH 100% PARTICIPATION, WE ARE THROWING A HIVE-O-WEEN PARTY IN EVERY CLASSROOM! 🎃🐝
That's right—it's a WIN-WIN! You take a few minutes to complete the form, Highland gets the opportunity to protect valuable funding, and our students get a HIVE-O-WEEN celebration! 🧡🖤💛
👉 Please click the link below and complete the form today!
It only takes a few minutes, but your participation could make a $100,000+ difference for Highland!
Thank you for helping us protect the resources our Hornets need to THRIVE in the HIVE! 🐝💙💛

Highland Cross Country Update
Cross country will look a little different at Highland this year. Unfortunately, we will not have an after-school sponsor available to hold regular practices.
We will, however, still participate in cross country meets at Yellow Creek Park. We know this is a change from what our students and families are accustomed to, and we certainly hope it does not discourage the amazing group of students who have participated in cross country in the past.
If your student would like to participate this year and you would like to order a Highland Cross Country shirt, orders forms will be coming home this week.
Thank you for your understanding and for continuing to support our Highland Hornets! 💙🐝

Important Message from Highland Elementary
The bus garage has informed us that we do not have a driver for Bus Route 42 this morning, which will result in an approximately 1.5-hour delay.
If your child rides this bus, please make arrangements to bring your student to school if possible. If that is not an option, Bus 42 will still run but will arrive approximately 1.5 hours later than usual.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding!
