Last Thursday, 19 East View staff members had the opportunity to attend the DCPS Mental Health Summit titled Project Umbrella: Rise UP and Engage! We heard from many speakers on the importance of meeting the mental health needs of students alongside an academic focus. Lieutenant Governor, Jacqueline Coleman, also spoke about her journey and focus on mental health for our state. It was a beautiful day of learning!
