Also, just a friendly reminder that Running Club practice will continue tomorrow! If you would like your Kindergarten ~ 5th grade student to attend, simply make the change in PikMyKid for that day's practice. In PikMyKid, you will choose "Afterschool", and below that, the "Running Club" option. Running Club will end at 3:15 pm. We will dismiss through the PM car rider line at the playground entrance!

Deputies spent time speaking with Mr. Michael's M.E.N. of Tomorrow group ~ a program dedicated to empowering our young male students through the core values of Motivation, Excellence, and Nobility.
The deputies gave our students an exciting and educational demonstration on K-9 dog safety with their dog, Cash. Our students learned how working dogs assist law enforcement and ensure safety!
The Shining Suns Family is grateful for our strong partnership with the Daviess County Sheriff's Office and their dedication to mentoring, educating, and protecting our young leaders!

The Buddy Walk is a joyous event that celebrates individuals with Down Syndrome, promotes inclusion, and raises awareness throughout our community. We would love for as many East View families, staff, and friends as possible to walk alongside Beau, Emma Jo, and their families!

We have wrapped up our LAST 4-day week here at East View and we are so VERY proud and impressed with our Shining Suns! They have kicked this year off in the most positive way AND continue to show what they know with GRIT and DEDICATION! We CAN and we WILLL! 💪💚💛
Just a friendly reminder, there is NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Friday, September 18, BUT... we hope to see you ALL at our Fall Festival tonight at 5:00pm! Our PTO has been working so hard to make this our best festival yet! We are so very grateful for ALL of our parent/guardian volunteers!

We just wrapped up our second, 4-day week, and our staff and students continue to bring fantastic focus to the classroom every day. We even celebrated High Attendance Day with 95.24% attendance this past Tuesday... AMAZING! We are so proud our staff and students WANT to be at school every day!
As a reminder, we have one more 4-day week coming up next week, with our Fall Festival on Thursday, Sept. 17 @ 5pm, and NO SCHOOL for students on Friday, Sept. 18!
