On this last day of Staff Appreciation Week, I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank all of you that show up each and every day and give your best to our students, to one another, and to Apollo.
The term “educators” makes most people think about classroom teachers, and yes Teachers hold a special place in all we do, but it is my firm belief that everyone that works at a school is here for the same reason....the success of our students. Everyone that works at Apollo has the same end goal in mind, the success of our students and our school, they just have different roles in that work. No matter your job on our Campus, you are appreciated, your work matters, and I thank you for all you do!
On that note, a special shout out to all of the community support and sponsorship of this week’s Faculty and Staff Appreciation festivities! It takes an entire building and community to have school each day and the outpouring of support from our community partners this week was great to see and I thank you for it.
I would also like to publicly thank Ms. Spaetti, Ms. Judd, Apollo's Student Council, Ms. Hannah Ebelhar, Apollo's Ag Department and FFA, our amazing Cafeteria Staff, and Ms. Misty Berry for all of the work they put in to make this a great week!
Thank you and Go Eagles!

Hello Apollo Families,
On Monday, May 4th, the intersection of Tamarack and Gemini will be closed for thru traffic from the start of the school day (8:10) until work is finished on a repair. We have been told that the work will be completed in one day. The work may take one hour or it may take all day.
So for us, this means that ALL traffic exiting Campus onto Gemini Drive will need to turn right and use Southtown Boulevard to get to your next destination. In addition, access to Gemini and by proxy the south side of our Campus, will need to come from Southtown as well.
In an effort to be good neighbors, we ask that you please use Southtown to reduce traffic through residential areas.
I will update you as we get more information.

Today was Disney/Pixar Day for disABILITY Awareness Week—because everyone deserves to feel like the hero of their own story. Just like our favorite characters, we all have unique strengths, challenges, and ways of shining. Take a moment to lift someone up, include someone new, and be the hero in someone’s day—because inclusion is what makes every story better.
Tomorrow is Wear Your InCrowd Shirt Day—let’s come together and show what inclusion looks like at Apollo!

Day 3 of disABILITY Awareness Week was all about “working out” our differences 💪
We loved seeing everyone show up in their workout gear and, more importantly, show up for each other. It was a great reminder that inclusion takes effort—but it’s always worth it.
Tomorrow is Disney/Pixar Day ✨
Because everyone has the power to be the HERO in someone’s story. 🦸♂️🦸♀️

As we continue celebrating disABILITY Awareness Week, sponsored by The In Crowd, we’re reminded how important it is to support one another and celebrate what makes each of us unique.
Thank you to everyone who participated in Jersey Day today as we TEAMED UP for inclusion! Tomorrow is Workout Wednesday—wear your workout gear and get ready to WORK OUT our differences!
Don’t forget about our Pie-in-the-Face Fundraiser! The race between Mr. Travis and Mrs. Cernius is still incredibly close. Who will get pied? That’s up to you! Bring your money tomorrow and put it in the bucket of the staff member you want to see take a pie to the face.
Let’s keep the energy going, support each other, and make this week all about inclusion!

Today we kicked off disABILITY Awareness Week by celebrating something simple, but powerful—being comfortable being YOU.
Inspired by Adam Sandler’s iconic, laid-back style, we encouraged our students and staff to show up wearing comfy clothes!. Because at Apollo inclusion starts with acceptance, and acceptance starts with understanding that everyone is unique in their own way.
We also had some fun supporting our IN Crowd fundraiser with “Tat the Staff”, where students purchased "tattoos" for staff. It was a great way to build connections, share some laughs, talk about how differences should be accepted, and support an important cause. We saw lots of different "tattoos" during this fun day celebrating our differences! At Apollo, we believe that differences aren’t just accepted—they are celebrated. Whether it’s how you learn, how you communicate, or how you express yourself, you belong here exactly as you are.
Let’s continue to build a community where kindness, empathy, and individuality shine every day.
