Book Fair is getting closer and closer! February 12th-16th students can come shop the book fair during their library class times and any open shopping times available during the school day. There will be two opportunities for families to come shop the fair with their child: On Tuesday Feb 13th - if you have a student performing in the 2nd and 3rd grade music performance, you can come shop the book fair afterwards. Performances are at 9:00 am and 12:00 pm that day. On Wednesday Feb 14th - if you have RSVP'd and plan to attend the Because I Love You Breakfast with your child, you can shop the book fair after the breakfast. Doors open at 7:15 for the breakfast. Congratulations to Tucker S and McKinley B for receiving the 2nd nine weeks Principal's Award today at school! Mrs. Pippin and Mr. Henry awarded these two students for going above and beyond when demonstrating Sorgho's school expectations!

We had our 2nd nine weeks Celebration Assembly! The theme was "Get Your Head in the Game!" Lots of games were played to celebrate All A & B students, All A students, Sky's the Limit Students, Habit Heroes, Wildcat Wins, Perfect Attendance and more! It was another fun assembly where we got to Sharpen Our Saws and celebrate TOGETHER!

Dance Blue was a hit! Sorgho helped raise $2, 819.98 all FOR THE KIDS! Thank you to everyone that participated and donated to this fun event!
