NEW INITIATIVE...
Either today or Monday your Wildcat will bring home the two documents attached as we have kicked off our Wildcat Reading Challenge! Every Wildcat is challenged to read 100 minutes outside of school and track the minutes. The Weekly Wildcat will come home every Monday and returned the following Monday! Read WITH your Wildcat, TO your Wildcat, or LISTEN to your Wildcat! Wildcats can even read to other siblings!
Together we can build stronger Wildcat readers!

We kicked off our morning with our Friday Family Assembly! Congratulations to our Forky Award Winners and Wildcat Wins! Also, we launched our chocolate sales fundraiser. Lots of things to be excited about!
Are you a Wildcat between the ages of 8 and 16 who likes to sing? The Kentucky Youth Chorale auditions are on Tuesday, August 18th from 5:30-6:30 at the Third Baptist Church. There is a tuition cost to participate so this is an optional after school opportunity!

Hey Wildcats! Tell Me Something Good about the first few days of school!
School Smiles is coming to Sorgho Elementary!
We are excited to welcome the dentist to Sorgho on September 29th! This is an optional dental service especially helpful for students who do not have a dentist currently.
📋 Forms will be sent home on Thursday, August 13th. If you would like your child to participate, please complete the form and return it to the Sorgho Family Resource Center.
