DCPS Families,
All students, regardless of financial status, need to fill out the Free and Reduced Lunch application for the 26-27 school year. This is more than just free meals; by filling this out families could receive reduced costs for school fees, dual credit courses, college application fees, and more. Click the link below to access a document on steps to fill it out. If you have any questions, reach out to your school's FRYSC Coordinator for more help! As a reminder, breakfast and lunch meals will continue to be free for elementary and middle school students.

Our Art class is having a wonderful fundraiser and you can purchase your very own student made bowl and help out a great cause. Join us at our family night on Wednesday 11/19/25 from 3:30-6:00.
THE DENTIST IS COMING TO OUR SCHOOL!!!!
The School Smiles on-site dental program provides on-site dental care at our school for ALL students that sign up to participate. The dental team will be set up inside our school on October 8, 2025. They accept Medicaid, private insurance, offer self-pay rates and grants through their program. Registration is now open online at: www.schoolsmiles.com/student-signup with over 100 languages to choose from when completing the online form. This program is great for students who do not have a dentist and are looking for a solution to that.
Please join us at DCHS from 5:00-7:00 PM for dinner, KHEAA presentations, Guidance Counselor Presentations, and so much more!!! Please RSVP to be entered in for one of our many door prizes.
Colleges and Military resources will also be present to answer questions.
