Have you ever stopped to imagine what it’s like being a bus driver? Safely getting every child home while also managing behaviors from the front of a bus is no small job, and at Deer Park, we are so thankful for the love and care our bus drivers show our Rangers every single day.
Mr. Robin is truly special. Every day, he greets students with fist bumps, hugs, and high fives, and even off the clock, he continues showing up for our kids because he genuinely cares about them. Our students behave on Bus 26 because they love and respect him and would never want to disappoint him. They invite him to school performances, ask him to eat lunch with them, and include him in Deer Park events because of the meaningful relationships he has built with our students.
While we may be saying goodbye to his daily route, Mr. Robin will always have a place at Deer Park. He is such a special part of our Ranger family, and we are incredibly grateful for the love and care he has poured into our students over the years. ❤️

Our 5th grade Rangers are ready to enjoy the day at Holiday World 🎢☀️ This trip is a well-deserved reward for their positive behavior all year and all their hard work during KSA testing. We are so proud of them and hope they make memories that last a lifetime! 💙🦌

Last Friday, we celebrated our youngest Rangers at their preschool graduation! 🎓✨ They are officially Kindergarten-ready! We are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and know they will continue to be bright, shining stars. Wishing them the very best as they begin this exciting new adventure! ⭐️💙

We wrapped up last week celebrating at our April Ranger Rally! 🎉
Thanks to an incredible Spring Fling turnout, Mr. Haynes earned enough tickets to get pied in the face—definitely a crowd favorite! 🥧😄
Our Ranger role models also joined in on some fun games, making it a memorable celebration for all!

Today we had a special visit from Jiggy and Remix to help get us pumped and prepared for testing, which begins Friday! 🎉
They reminded us of a few important things for success:
*get a good night’s sleep
*eat a healthy breakfast
*arrive on time
*try your best
*keep those positive thoughts flowing.
Your mind is powerful—and you’ve got this! 💪✨

Last night’s Spring Fling was a blast! 🎉 Balloon animals, games, cakes, and nonstop smiles filled the night. Teachers even got sprayed with water 💦 while everyone enjoyed nachos and cotton candy. So much laughter and fun all around!

🎶 Calling all incoming College VIew Middle School 6th graders! 🎶
Join us for our upcoming CVMS Band Informational Meeting on Thursday, April 30th in the CVMS cafeteria where we’ll cover everything you need to get started— class scheduling, how to get your student an instrument, what to expect in band class, and more! This is a great opportunity for beginners and families to learn how middle school band works and ask questions, so we will need all students and families interested in joining middle school band to attend.
On Friday, May 1st, you are invited back for Instrument Try-Out Night in the CVMS cafeteria, where you will be able to sign up for a 15 minute time slot for your student to try out and select their instrument for the 2026-27 school year. The link to sign up for an appointment is: https://shorturl.at/Xeg4w. If you have issues signing up for an appointment, there will also be opportunities to sign up for a time slot on the night of the Informational Meeting on April 30th.
Even if your student has not yet signed up for band class, or is still undecided about joining, they should still attend these events to receive information. Trust us, they do not want to miss out on this awesome opportunity! We look forward to seeing all of our future CVMS Band members there!

Today was a little chaotic—but a whole lot of fun—as we celebrated our MVR reward by tie-dying brand new Deer Park shirts! 👕 We can’t wait to wear them proudly on Field Day!
A HUGE thank you to our Connect Team and some amazing parent volunteers for helping create such a special memory with our Rangers! 🩵

On Friday, we celebrated our Rangers’ academic and behavior achievements for January and February! 🎉
We recognized our Ranger Role Models, Lexia leaders, Reflex Math achievers, academic growth, and outstanding attendance. We wrapped it all up with a fun Ranger Role Model game that had everyone smiling!
So proud of the hard work, positive choices, and dedication our students continue to show each day.

This week, our 5th graders had the exciting opportunity to visit College View Middle School as they begin preparing for their transition from elementary to middle school!
We are so proud of them as they take this big next step and start getting a glimpse of all the opportunities ahead!

For Kindness Week, our students learned what it means to “fill someone’s bucket” 💚 🪣
They created their own origami buckets and wrote down acts of kindness they can do to brighten someone’s day. From simple smiles to helping a friend, they discovered that even small actions can make a big difference!
We’re so proud of the thoughtful ways they’re choosing to spread kindness throughout our school!

Congratulations to our Be Kind Students of the Week! Your kindness and resilience make us proud to call you Rangers!
