On Monday, October 16th, the afternoon pick up for students will change. If you are picking up your student, you will enter at the stop light at the Deer Park Elementary school entrance to feed into the CVMS student pick up line. The entrance to CVMS will be reserved for buses only. This change will allow more cars to enter the pick up lane and provide a safer option for not only buses to enter/exit CVMS but for students as well.
As you can see in the video, parents enter the pickup lane by turning into Deer Park and circling around the front parking lot. Using the connecting drive between Deer Park and CVMS, cars will continue along the drive. As you approach the stop sign by CVMS, cars will turn left to head toward the back parking lot. Similar to now, there are two lanes for student pick up; the single-file line will split into two at the pickup line. Please make sure to pull forward as far as you can to allow as many cars as possible to also pick up students behind you. Students must be picked up in the designated pickup areas to ensure their safety. Once your student is picked up, you will merge back into a single-file line and exit by the same path you entered. Parking will no longer be accessible in the grass areas in between Deer Park and CVMS on the hill or along the grass in the back parking lot.
There will be no change to morning drop off.

Tomorrow is the BIG day!
We can't wait to see ALL of our buildings full of students and staff having a great day of learning and fun.
The Wrestling meeting will be on Sept 19 @ 5:45 at Daviess County High School's back gym. Park by the tennis courts and go in that door the left side door will be unlocked. Come into school and go to left behind the bleachers.
Does your student like to bowl? Do they want to try a new sport? The Apollo Eagles Bowling Team is looking to add a few middle school bowlers to their team this year. Students in 7th or 8th grade that will feed into Apollo are eligible to participate with the high school team. No experience is necessary! Open Practice times in September are a great way to come give High School Bowling a try & see what it’s all about. Email the head coach for more information or come to one of the sessions below.
