The best event of the year is coming up soon! Our National Junior Honor Society is proud to present Project Purple! We will be Giving Cancer the Boot from 4-8pm next Friday, March 14. We can’t wait for our students to come together for this amazing night of dance and dedication. The price to join the cause and the fun is $25 or $20 with a donation of a book. Project Purple bolsters Apollo’s DanceBlue and Daviess County’s RaiseRED events. AHS and DCHS use the money to support pediatric cancer research at Norton’s Children’s Hospital and University of Kentucky’s Children’s Hospital. Please see the attachment for the link to sign up. College View Middle School is canceling school today due to being without power and Kenergy being unable to restore the power today. This only affects College View Middle School students.
For the plan to return students back to their homes, parents can come pick up their child or we have buses available to transport them back.
Your student will be transported home the same way(bus or car) they are transported at the end of the school day unless you communicate with your student something different prior to 9am.
CVMS staff will stay with kids past 9am should they need to stay longer for transportation to be arranged for parent pickup. Students should speak to an administrator if they plan to do this.
