Share in the comments or send to Katie Fenwick on talking points! All pictures will be posted unless otherwise noted.

So many great things already happening in our first few days of 2024! In addition to our FriYay celebration for being named a Leader in Me Academic Honor Roll School, our students have been working hard in classes to collaborate with their learning and our Husky Servant Club members gave their time and talents to make blankets for Borrowed Hearts! ❤️. Our students truly shine when they reach out into our community - we are very proud of their generous hearts!

Once again, our PTO shows our staff love in abundance! We are so grateful for our families!

We are so very proud of our November Leaders of the Month! #bighuskycheer

Our third grade leaders hosted a "Holly Jolly Christmas Craft Show," at which our students sold their beautiful creations to raise money for SparKY animal shelter! We are so proud of their generosity!

Second grade and Mrs. Fulkerson’s fifth grade class did service projects this year to help the animals at the Daviess County Animal Shelter. Second grade classes had a coin drive to sponsor the adoption fee of three dogs as well as made posters to try to help then get adopted, which they have been! Through the generosity of the students and families there was also money left over to buy some dog supplies. Mrs. Fulkerson’s class collected supplies and toys for the dogs as well as the cats.
Today Amber came with Bethany, a terrier who is available for adoption, to talk with the kids about their amazing contribution and impact on the shelter animals!
The shelter takes in around 2,500 animals a year and has around 200 animals in their care at any time so the donations are incredibly helpful to not only care for the animals but also give them a good stay with treats and toys!
