This is the first time since 2005 (20 YEARS!!) our girls have been the city county champions.

8th Grade Night for our Volleyball team! Congratulations to our 8th graders:
Emma Coomes, Skylar Rose, Madison Lee, Zoe Layson, Aubrey Baskett, Saung Aye, and Mary Cing.

Our school is participating in a Beanstack reading competition. The Foxes have been awarded the Beanstack Trailblazer status for having over 75% participation in our first ever reading challenge. Since the "Your Next Chapter" challenge began on September 1, BMS students have logged over 77,000 minutes! After our reading in homeroom today, here is the Beanstack update! Seventh graders are still WAY ahead with the number of students enrolled, number of minutes read, and number of homerooms in the top 10! The 14 staff members have ALMOST out-read the 8th grade! Prizes will be awarded to the top readers. Ask your student what they are reading and if they are logging their reading into Beanstack. Leave a comment if you have any good book suggestions for what our students should read next!
