Special thanks to Mrs. Yonts, Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Propst for all your hard work coordinating this opportunity and to all the volunteer chaperones for giving your time to our students!

We also want to thank The Earle, Happy Feet, The DCPS Foundation and the Prichard Community school grant for making this program possible.

Dance team information

On Wednesday, April 23, two groups from Burns Middle School competed at Rupp Arena in Lexington at the state STLP competition. There were over 200 groups from across the state sharing their ideas to solve problems using technology. The seventh grade group consisted of Violett Leftwich, Ashlyn Aud, Mary Cing, and Ivy Humaidah (not pictured). The eighth grade group consisted of Nathan Pollard, Madi Farley, and Karina Trejo. They represented BMS well and received positive feedback from the judges.
