Attention 8th grade parents!! Update on Empower U Expo:
With the large amount of snow that we have received, and the threat of more impending weather, I have decided to push our Empower U Expo to Monday, February 9th at Apollo (5:30 p.m.). We will not host our event as planned tomorrow evening.

We want share some exciting news and celebrate an outstanding accomplishment by two of our Burns Middle School students.
London Wright and Ella Greer have been selected for the 2026 KMEA All-State Middle School Band, an honor earned by fewer than 200 students statewide. This is a highly competitive process, and their selection reflects exceptional dedication, musicianship, and perseverance.
We are incredibly proud of all of our students who auditioned, and especially proud to share that London and Ella are the first middle school students ever selected for All-State from Burns Middle School. This is a historic milestone for our school and a testament to the hard work of these students.
