Apollo won a Premier Delegation Award!
Maddie and Ashton won Outstanding Speaker awards! Maddie & Becca’s bill passed both houses. Ashton & Grace’s bill was passed by both houses but vetoed by the governor. Ashton gave a speech to challenge his veto & got it passed with a 2/3rds vote! Ms. Crowell was inducted into the Advisor Hall of Fame!
Apollo's KYA team has had a great day! Their Commonwealth Bill passed both houses and the Supreme Court team had a successful day! #GoEagles
Cheer competition results:
Apollo had three 3rd place finishes, one 1st place finish, and all four routines qualified for nationals. It was a good day 👏 @athleticsapollo @bdych #GoEagles

On 11/2 our 10th grade students took the ACT & for a VAST majority of them it was the first time! Results are back & we are pleased that 43% of our 10th graders met AT LEAST 1 benchmark which makes them Post Secondary Ready! #GoEagles
Cows on Campus.... The Animal Science classes are participating in hands on learning today with the presence of these cows. We know the students will moooooove on over to share room with them today.
AHS and DCHS Student Councils are proud to present this year's DCPS 12 Days of Christmas! All schools are encouraged to participate to help spread holiday cheer leading up to Christmas Break.
Apollo cheer is once again headed to state cheer competition. The Eagles qualified for state with a 3rd place finish in the KHSAA 2nd region cheer competition in the coed division.
Next up for Apollo cheer - UCA’s Bluegrass regionals, where the eagles will attempt to qualify four routines for national competition.

For Permanent District Substitute status with an earned Bachelor's Degree is $130 per day with benefits included.
For Permanent District Substitute status with 64 college credits or more without an earned Bachelor's Degree is $120 per day with benefits included.
