Results from the State Swim Meet from this weekend:
The boys qualified in the 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay, and Emmitt Brock qualified in the 50 Free and 100 Butterfly. Our boys' team performed well, but will not move on to the second week of state competition.
Olivia Esposito qualified for the finals in 1 meter diving and will compete in the State Finals at UK on 2/20!

The JV/F boys' basketball games at McLean County tonight (Thursday, February 6, 2025) have been cancelled. They have not determined if they will be made up or not. If they are then we will send out a communication later.

Due to illness, The freshmen girls' basketball games at Bowling Green on 2/1/25 have been cancelled.
The basketball games at Apollo against McLean County on tonight, January 28, 2025 have time changes. The varsity boys' game will start at 6:00 pm and the girls' game will follow at approximately 7:30. Between the games, we will have our Winter Senior Recognition.
Saturday, Apollo's Academic Team received the results of their Governor's Cup district tournament.
Sarah Hardin placed 5th in Written Composition.
Ballard Branham placed 5th in Arts and Humanities.
The Future Problem Solving team placed 1st (FIRST!!).
All of these students will be heading on to compete in the regional competition in February.
In the Pennyrile competition, Chris Armbrust placed 2nd in Science and the FPS team also placed 2nd.

We have adjusted the start time for the basketball games against McLean County on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. On that night, the boys' varsity teams will play each other first with the girls' varsity teams playing second. The boys' game will start at 5:45 pm (was 5:30). The girls' will remain at 7:30 pm on the schedule but will start approximately 20 minutes after the boys' game.

The girls' basketball games against Warren Central on Saturday, January 25, 2025 has had a change. Saturday will be a varsity only contest (no JV game) starting at 3:30 pm.

Members of the Apollo Choirs will be singing the National Anthem at the Kentucky Wesleyan College basketball game Thursday night for DCPS Night. The singing will occur before the mens' game at 7:45pm.
The choir members singing are Percy Adkins, Kaitlyn Bishop, Ballard Branham, Abbie Carmon, Matthew Chandler, Sarah Hardin, Macie King, Nathan Sosh, and Addie Wells.
