Apollo High School is proud to announce that we will hold our annual Veterans Day Breakfast & Ceremony on November 11, 2026. Students, Faculty & Staff of Apollo High School that have a Veteran in their family are eligible to attend.
Beginning at 7:45 am, we will host a breakfast for our Veterans and 1 Guest (along with the AHS Student, Faculty, Staff Member) in our Auxiliary Gym where our wonderful Cafeteria Staff will fix Biscuits, Gravy, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon & Sausage. We will have coffee, milk, juice and water options as well to drink. We are working with a couple of local businesses on possible donations of some sweet treats as well.
At 8:30 am, we will have our Veterans Day Ceremonies in our Main Gym where all Apollo Faculty/Staff & Students will attend to honor our Veterans. Our Band, Orchestra & Choir will be performing along with our JROTC Cadets. We will have a Guest Speaker and we are proud to announce that we are now a Purple Star School so a Representative will be here to make a presentation. We also will be honoring our Veterans with a small token of our appreciation which is a keepsake to remember the Eagle Family.
This is something that we look forward to doing each and every year!
Below is a link for a registration form that we need to have completed so we know who is coming. Students were given this form on Thursday, October 8th but we wanted to make it accessible in case students do not make it home with them.

Please remember that we are now on Fall Break so the offices are closed until Monday, October 19th. I will return any phone calls at the earliest convenience when we return but I will be accessible through email during the break.

Special note... if you have attended before, I still need a form on your Veteran. Also, if you have previously submitted a picture, I do not need a new one. I keep these each year.
