 EXIT TICKET   A student-response system that has it all!  Use this guide to help you and your students set up this amazing data collection tool. 

  FORMATIVE  Want a website to help you formatively assess your students?  This site enables students to show their work and answer questions that teachers create.  Teachers can evaluate the work instantly giving immediate feedback to the students.  Check out these tutorials.

 GRADECAM   Teachers scan printed forms that are similar to scantron sheets with their iPad, web cam, or integrated laptop camera.  The GradeCam website and app both collect these results and display a variety of reports for the teacher.  The free version allows up to ten questions per form.  Click here for a short presentation and here for detailed directions.

 KAHOOT  Students of all ages love to interact with the content using Kahoot in class.  Teachers can create quizzes or look for premade "Kahoots" that match their content needs. Students are then given a code to enter the game with their device that has a web browser.  Teachers can have students play individually or in groups.

 PLICKERS  Looking for a student-response system that the whole class can use? Plickers is your answer!  All you need is one device and a set of Plicker Cards to get immediate data from your formative assessments.  View this short video for a description of how to use Plickers in your classroom and this PowerPoint for some helpful tips. 

 QUIZIZZ   A quiz game very similar to Kahoot but student-paced.  Students instantly see which items are correct or incorrect and gain points according to accuracy and speed. Teachers can view results during and after the quiz. Check out these instructionsfor creating your first quiz in Quizizz!

  EDMODO  This website and app enables teachers to post websites/videos for student viewing, polls, and quizzes.  Teachers can assign/grade work on Edmodo and set up their account so that students can post comments and questions to the class or just to the teacher.   Check out this resource for tutorials.

  SIGN UP GENIUS  A site to organize sign-ups for any event, including Parent/Teacher Conferences, Volunteers, and PD.  Step-by-Step Instructions on setting up this site for your event are here.

 TEACHER.ORG LESSON PLANS  Lessons are organized by subject and grade level. Within each lesson, you will find clear objectives, description of materials needed, a thorough procedure with an opening and a closing, as well as assessments and modifications.

 EDPUZZLE  This tool enables teachers/students to add questions, comments, and audio notes to video lessons on YouTube, Khan Academy, LearnZillion, etc.  Student-paced learning occurs with these interactive video lessons that are ideal for a flipped classroom, stations, or warm-up. Teachers can view/grade student responses quickly to gauge student understanding.
