Special Services - Programs

DCPS delivers special education services throughout a continuum of options:

  • Regular classroom with specially designed instruction and support.
  • Regular classroom with support from a collaborating special education teacher.
  • Small group (resource) classes taught by a special education teacher.
  • Special classroom setting.
  • Home and hospital instruction for students that are unable to attend school due to a health condition.  

 Related services and supports:

  • Speech and Language Therapy 
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physical Therapy
  • Orientation and Mobility Training
  • Assistive Technology
