As I've transitioned from a classroom teacher to a principal over the past 19 years, my viewpoint has changed with each transition. When I was in the classroom, my view was within the four walls of my classroom, but now I get to see the big picture. I see a student body of over 400 students who are growing, changing, and working hard everyday as they journey to be tomorrow's leaders. I see nearly 70 staff members who come to school everyday and pour themselves into teaching, nurturing, and loving our students. I see family members who are doing everything they can to support their children and our school in an effort to make sure their kiddos are set up for success in their education and in life. It really is a beautiful view. There's an African Proverb that says, "It takes a village to raise a child." Thank you for allowing us to be part of that village!
