DCPS Curbside Meal Service

NOTE: This page will be updated with any changes to serving times and locations.

Updated Feb. 26, 2021

Dear DCPS Families –

The Daviess County Public Schools district is committed to continuing to offer the highest level of service, offering breakfast and lunch meals to all students, whether they are learning at school or at home.

Students participating in In-Person Instruction (A-B Schedule) will be served breakfast and lunch each day they are at school. All meals are FREE through an extension of the USDA Summer Feeding Program.

For students learning at home - whether on Virtual Academy, Digital Learning Days, Hybrid Learning Days or Non-Traditional Instruction - serving will take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at schools and mobile sites listed below. SEE BELOW FOR SCHEDULE OF SERVING TIMES and LOCATIONS.

Meals are available for all children and youth age 18 and younger (not limited to DCPS students). Two breakfasts and two lunches will be served every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; the “extra” meals are intended for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Parents/guardians may pick up meals at whichever location is most convenient for them. All health and safety guidelines, including social distancing and face coverings, must be followed by everyone participating in this service.

Our DCPS Food Services team will continue to provide nutritious, delicious meals designed to promote a healthy lifestyle and keep kids “fueled up” and ready to learn – whether we are serving curbside or in the cafeteria – throughout the year.

NOTE REGARDING FOOD ALLERGIES: Families who need to request special accommodations for allergies etc. should contact the cafeteria manager at the school where they pick up meals (phone numbers listed below; please call at least an hour in advance). Let them know specific dietary needs and the day(s) meals will be picked up, and they will be happy to provide an appropriate meal for your child(ren).

If you have any questions or need more information, please contact the DCPS Food Services Department at 270-852-7000. We are here to serve YOU.
