The Daviess County Public Schools district is home to one of the largest dual credit programs in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Our partnership with the Kentucky Community and Technical College system opens doors and provides opportunities for our students to be engaged in meaningful, real-world learning experiences designed to prepare them for success in life.

Through our close relationship with local colleges, DCPS students may earn college credit during their high school career. Students pay a reduced tuition rate and receive benefits of dual enrollment at our high schools and the partner college.

We are focused on creating an academic experience that is individually tailored to meet the needs of our students, our community, and the local workforce. By expanding our academic offerings, we are creating pathways for students to begin their college and career journey while still in high school. Whether they plan to attend a four-year university, pursue a technical certificate, or obtain a two-year degree, students will be equipped with strong academic skills and a foundation upon which to build future success.

Our students can choose from pathways in Agriculture, Engineering, Life Sciences, Early College, Coding, Advanced Placement or Technical Courses, or they may customize their plan by mixing and matching from these options. Students graduate from our programs with knowledge and awareness of a career path and are prepared for success after high school graduation.

This guide is designed to inform Daviess County Public Schools students and their families about the abundant options available through our Community Campus and Dual Credit programs, with information about opportunities for success that lasts a lifetime.
