The Kentucky Department of Education website maintains a summary of “report cards” for schools and districts across the state. These reports include information about test performance, teacher qualifications, student safety, awards, parent involvement and much more, providing an opportunity for parents/public to compare schools and/or districts with consistent and accurate data.

In addition, the U.S. Department of Education (USED) has released a "Parent Guide to State and Local Report Cards." It is designed to inform parents and other stakeholders about the elements of ESSA-required reporting (ESSA: Every Student Succeeds Act). Please note, however, that the example listed on page 2 for Per Pupil reporting is not compliant with ESSA statutory requirement to break figures out by federal and state/local funds.

The Kentucky Department of Education has also posted a Public Website Users' Guide.

As always, members of the Daviess County Public Schools district are happy to answer your questions or provide more information. Contact us at (270) 852-7000 or write to contact@dcps.org
