HES Caps for a Cure JDRF

We are calling on all HES students to help find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes by participating in "Caps For a Cure" May 21-25.  For $5, students may wear a hat to school each day that week to support Macy Roberts and Brennan Faught who will be participating in the JDRF Walk.  Let's help lift them up by supporting their efforts!

HES Summer Reading Challenge Summer Reading

Summer reading is so important!  To encourage your child, the "Summer Reading Challenge" sheet will be sent home with students the last week of school.  Students can return the completed sheet of books they read over the summer on the first week of school. HES Canned Food Drive Canned Food Drive

The week of October 30th - November 3rd, HES will be having a Holiday Food Drive. HES Grandparents' Day! Grandparents' Day

HES will be serving breakfast for our special grandparent visitors on Tuesday, September 12 for our K-2nd grade students and Wednesday, September 13 for our 3rd-5th grade students from 6:45-7:30.  Breakfast price is $1.75 each.  Our special menu for the day will be: chicken biscuit, fruit, juice and milk.  We hope to see you then!

HES Kindergarten Screening Important Notice

HES Kindergarten Student Screening will be on Tuesday, July 25th, 4-6 pm, at HIGHLAND.  Alternate location is Country Heights Elementary School IF we have a last minute change due to construction.  Important Details:  All participants will enter the front hallway, proceed through the cafeteria (parent sitting area), and students will be screened in the Early Learning Center.  ALL students must stay with their parent/guardian and cannot tour the building as construction crews are still working.

HES Back to School! Back to School

Highland's Back-to-School event is scheduled for Thursday, August 3rd. Hopefully, construction will be completed by then.  We will utilize letters home, Infinite Campus email messenger, Facebook posts and OneCall to communicate any changes in date, time, or location.  We are looking forward to seeing our Hornets!
