Volunteer Opportunities:
Our volunteer program at Southern Oaks has been developed to assist teachers, staff and students in many ways. We believe that parents represent a wealth of resources that can be used to enrich the school. There are many ways we use parent volunteers. Please remember…school volunteers are people of all ages, in all walks of life, who are willing to give their time to the enrichment of school programs. They are united by one common purpose---an interest in helping children.
Our Volunteer Brochure explains our program objectives, who can volunteer, what you can do, and how to get started.
Our Volunteer Handbook provides a more detailed look into volunteering including our mission statement, volunteer guidelines and information, code of conduct, and working with teachers and students.
In order to get started, please make sure you have completed the Volunteer Request Form and form KRS 17.160 to have a background check completed. |
