The Daviess County Public Schools district will open online registration from Monday, March 27, to Wednesday, May 10, for all students who are returning to any DCPS school this year. Students who will enter a DCPS school for the first time but who have a sibling who is currently enrolled may also be registered through the online process.
Parents/guardians may go to the following website: http://portal.dcps.org
Once there, click "Online Registration" and be sure to select the correct school year (2017-18).
Because online registration was required last year, parents/guardians will only need to review and confirm or update information that was entered last year.
Parents/guardians should have the following information on hand to make the registration process more efficient:
- Infinite Campus Parent Portal username and password. Anyone who needs to create an account or does not remember their login information may contact the school their child will attend.
- Birth dates of children who will attend DCPS schools next year
- Household address
- Contact phone numbers
- Names, birthdates and phone numbers of any other individual who is authorized to pick up your child from school
- Health/medical information about each child
Many of our schools have scheduled Open Lab nights to assist families with online registration. Computers will be set up and staff will be available to assist with the process. The information listed above should be taken to these events. Call your child’s school for information about Open Lab schedules.
Applications for free/reduced lunches will be taken starting July 1. That link will be posted on the district website at www.dcps.org under the Food Services Department page.
