Daviess County Public Schools (DCPS) Department of Special Services provides a wide array of services for students with disabilities.  The mission of the DCPS Special Services Programs is to address barriers that might hinder each student's success in school.  It is our belief that every child can be successful and develop into a productive member of the community.

Child Find -  DCPS seeks to serve all children with disabilities ages 3 to 21.  If you have knowledge of any child who may have a disability and is not receiving services, please contact the Director of Special Services.  An appropriate education, at no cost, is a right to every child with a qualifying disability.

DCPS serves approximately 1762 children with disabilities (December 2018 Child Count).

This administrative department is either not active or does not exist.
