HES Caps for a Cure JDRF

We are calling on all HES students to help find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes by participating in "Caps For a Cure" May 21-25.  For $5, students may wear a hat to school each day that week to support Macy Roberts and Brennan Faught who will be participating in the JDRF Walk.  Let's help lift them up by supporting their efforts!

HES Summer Reading Challenge Summer Reading

Summer reading is so important!  To encourage your child, the "Summer Reading Challenge" sheet will be sent home with students the last week of school.  Students can return the completed sheet of books they read over the summer on the first week of school. You can also click HERE for the sheet.  In return, they will receive prizes (books, bookmarks, bracelets).  Also, the Daviess County Public Library has their own reading challenge with bigger prizes.  Register your child at https://dcplibrary.beanstack.org/reader365.  The grand prize is a chance to win a Nintendo Switch.  For more info about the importance of summer reading, visit https://sites.google.com/friscoisd.org/summerreading/why-summer-reading
